Born in Enugu State, Nigeria, Kevin Ushi attended St. Patrick’s Primary School, Yaba (1973-1979); St. Finbarr’s College, Akoka (1979-1982); and Akoka High School (1982-1984), all in Lagos State. He studied Mass Communication at the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu (OND) (1985-1987) and the Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta (1991-1993) where he obtained a Higher National Diploma.

Apart from being a Broadcaster and a voice-over artiste, Kevin Ushi is an actor who trained through several stage, Radio, and Television drama productions. He has written and acted in over thirty episodes of Radio Nigeria’s popular drama series ‘Gandu Street’ Since 1988. He presents on Radio, Mobil Nigeria PLC’s pidgin programmes ‘Mobil Ingine Oyel Tori and ‘Mechanic Una well done’.

At present, he runs an Audio/Visual production outfit, Kevushi Productions, scripting, voicing and producing Radio and Television Commercials. He is married with two children.
