Born in Iperu Remo, Ogun State on March 18, 1935. Chief Olusegun Olusola attended Wesley School Iperu and the Remo Secondary School Shagamu. He studied Broadcasting at Syracuse University New York and Pitsburgh University. He also took the BBC Management of resources Course.
He began his Broadcasting career in 1955 at the Nigeria Broadcasting Service Ibadan. He created the longest running Nigeria T.V. Drama Series, the ‘Village Headmaster.’
Chief Olusola has served the nation in various capacities. In 1987, he was appointed Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ethiopia & resident Representative to the Organisation of Africa Unity. He equally served as chairman, OAU commission on refuges (1988-1993)..
At present, he is the Chairman of the International Centre for the Arts, Lagos; Founder / President, African Refugee Foundation; Chairman, Ajibulu Moniya gallery; Vice Chairman, Didi Museum and Director, Costain West Africa Plc. |
